Quality and innovation of youth work

Objectives

The main aim of the “Communication Matrix 2.0” project is to equip youth workers and youth leaders with strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable them to build better connections, mediate, and guide young people in a safe and peaceful manner. The project focuses on improving four types of communication — verbal, non-verbal, written, and visual — with an emphasis on the most challenging areas that require more practice and awareness. The objectives of the project are: To improve youth workers’ communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, visual); To foster empathetic, effective, and non-violent communication; To strengthen conflict management and public speaking abilities; To enhance self-confidence, self-awareness, and understanding of inclusive language; To improve the overall quality of youth work and relationships with young people; To reduce misunderstandings and strengthen trust and respect between youth workers and young people. Ultimately, the project aims to empower youth workers to become better communicators, mentors, and facilitators, thereby improving both their personal and professional effectiveness in youth work.
