The “Digital Form of Volunteering” project was designed to redefine the concept of volunteering in the age of digital transformation and to enable youth workers to use digital tools more consciously, ethically, and effectively. Our aim was both to strengthen the digital skills of those working in the field of volunteering and to demonstrate that volunteering can be carried out sustainably in online environments. As part of the project, youth workers from Turkey, Romania, Hungary, and North Macedonia came together and attended a training course in Zonguldak between April 7 and 13, 2025, hosted by the coordinating institution, Paydaş Education Culture and Arts Association. The training sessions lasted an average of 6 hours each day and focused on topics such as digital security, social media strategies, the use of artificial intelligence tools in volunteering, digital ethics, intercultural communication, and digital leadership. Participants took an active role in the sessions, experiencing learning through group work, presentations, and simulations. The training language was English, but Turkish facilitation support was provided when needed. Each country group shared their local experiences and best practices, creating a common learning space at the European level. The specific objectives of the project were: to enhance youth workers' ability to integrate digital tools into volunteering processes, to raise awareness on digital security, ethics, and information verification, to establish intercultural interaction and solidarity networks among participants, and to develop sustainable digital volunteering models among partner countries. In conclusion, the project was not only an individual learning process but also an experience that increased the capacity of partner organizations and created an international platform for sharing on digital volunteering.
