The project was implemented between March 1–11, 2025, with the aim of enhancing access to European opportunities for young people living in rural areas of Türkiye and introducing them to an inclusive and sustainable European identity. As part of the project, rural youth—most of whom had never traveled abroad before—were provided with an educational travel experience across Europe. Participants traveled through Türkiye, Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary using eco-friendly transportation methods (primarily by train), and received thematic training at each stop on topics such as environmental sustainability, zero waste practices, rural-urban balance, cultural heritage, and European values. Through the project, participants developed self-confidence, increased their intercultural understanding, strengthened their environmental awareness, and had the opportunity to experience a shared European identity. The risk of social exclusion among rural youth was reduced, their ecological footprints were calculated to foster environmental consciousness, and their achievements during the journey were recognized with digital certificates. The project also contributed to building a more inclusive and sustainable Europe in the long term by increasing the motivation of rural youth to engage in international mobility.
