- Increase expertise on how to involve people with visual or physical impairments in realising qualitative nature education activities. - Building expertise on how to generate support for inclusive domains, incl. participation processes and increase knowledge on sustainable inclusive approaches. - Stimulate knowledge sharing and exchange between the parks and domains, as well as striving for joint solutions for challenges related to nature education for groups with disabilities.
The provincial parks are accessible to a broad public, e.g. by organising easy to attend activities or implementing specific infrastructure. However, certain groups like physically and visually impaired people, are not visiting or attending the nature education activities (yet) due to thresholds. We believe it is important to remove these as much as possible and want to involve 'the target group' while doing so. We however lack some expertise on how such a participation process can be organised.
