We aim to empower our motivated vocational education students, helping them feel more integrated into the broader European Union and enhancing their opportunities in the (international) job market. Additionally, we firmly believe that participation in the Erasmus+ program helps break down negative stereotypes surrounding the residents of Molenbeek. By interacting with students from other countries, they will boost their self-confidence and develop into responsible and engaged citizens.
In 2019, our school participated in a KA2 project, marking our first contact with Erasmus+. The initial mobility provided our students with the opportunity to challenge the negative media images of Molenbeek. These exchanges boosted their self-confidence, improved their English language skills, and motivated many, particularly vocational education students. As a school, we aim to continue investing in such outcomes with the support of the Erasmus+ program.
