Objectives

We aim to enhance participants' digital skills in managing and protecting copyright, focusing on marginalized and digitally excluded communities. By offering comprehensive training in digital distribution, metadata management, and copyright protection, we seek to empower these individuals to effectively navigate the digital realm and expand their reach.

Background

We applied for this project to address the urgent need for digital upskilling among marginalized communities within our network. As technology rapidly evolves in the creative sector, these groups face significant challenges in accessing and mastering new tools. By providing targeted training and mentorship, we aim to empower these learners, enhancing their digital competencies and ensuring they can fully participate and succeed in the modern creative landscape.
