By implementing this project, we aim to provide young people with fewer opportunities the chance to participate in the international DiscoverEU program, thereby expanding their cultural and social horizons and encouraging personal development. Our main goal is to break down the barriers these young people face and offer them access to cultural and educational exchange within Europe. From the perspective of youth work, our main objectives include: 1. Social inclusion and equal access: The project aims to provide equal opportunities for young people with fewer chances to participate in the DiscoverEU program. These are young people who would otherwise be limited by social, economic, or geographical barriers. Through the project, we will enable them to take part in cultural exchange, travel, and connect with other young people across Europe. 2. Development of key competences: By participating in the project, the youth will develop important social and intercultural skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and personal responsibility. These competences are essential for their future professional and personal development and will help them adapt to different social and cultural contexts. 3. Promoting active citizenship: The project will engage participants to be more active citizens by encouraging them to contribute to their local communities and the public life of the European Union. They will gain a better understanding of European values like tolerance, solidarity, and equality, and will be prepared to contribute to social change. 4. Intercultural learning: The project will offer participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures, develop cultural awareness, and learn how to embrace and respect diversity. This will promote their integration into a diverse European society and prepare them for life in a globalized world. 5. Sustainable and environmental awareness: One of the key aspects of the project is the promotion of sustainable behavior and environmental awareness. Participants will be encouraged to use environmentally friendly transportation and will gain knowledge about sustainable development and environmental protection. Through this project, we aim not only to offer the participants the chance for international travel but also to foster comprehensive personal development by strengthening their social and intercultural competences, developing their sense of active participation in society, and preparing them for future challenges in the globalized world.
