Journeys to knowledge project involves five groups of travellers with limited opportunities. The activities selected in relation to the focus of each trip will enable participants to strengthen the dimension of inclusion and learning through discovery. These are themes that the participants live and care about in their free time and within their environment, and for many will form the basis of their future career paths and choices for further education and careers. We believe that the project will enable them to broaden their horizon of interests within European borders, gain valuable international experience and meet the specific needs of each individual in a safe group setting. The themes of the selected activities are very diverse and show the great potential of the participants. All the trips presented have a common goal: to provide young people with limited opportunities with a unique experience that would have a positive impact on their personal development and broaden their horizons. Each theme presents specific opportunities to enhance inclusion and learning. Travel offers the opportunity to overcome personal boundaries, develop independence and confidence. Confronting different cultures and ways of life contributes to greater openness and tolerance. Developing language skills improves opportunities for communication and cooperation. Shared experiences strengthen belonging and create stronger relationships. We expect different benefits for different paths, just as the focus of the paths is diverse - from architecture to ecology, fashion to sport. Sport is a universal language that crosses social and economic barriers. Active involvement in sporting activities can help participants overcome exclusion and boost their self-esteem. The opportunity to meet professional athletes and coaches provides a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills. Learning about different ways of life and cultures can help participants gain a broader perspective and a better understanding of their own place in the world. Exploring port cities offers the opportunity to learn about the history, culture and economy of these places. Exploring unusual sports can be appealing for participants who want to break out of the usual patterns and try something new. Discovering new sports and traditions can inspire future interests and hobbies. The topic of ecology is important to all and can bring together participants with different interests. Learning about sustainable solutions and their impact on the environment can inspire active involvement in environmental protection, just as sustainable fashion is a topic that interests many young people. Learning about sustainable fashion trends can inspire a more responsible approach to consumption.
