Fully Accessible European Travel: Young deaf and deafblind people often face communication barriers in their daily lives. Our project aims to provide them with a fully accessible journey through Europe. Participants are actively involved in the planning from the very beginning, allowing them to shape the journey according to their own preferences. They will experience the diversity of Europe in language, culture, and people, thereby strengthening their European identity. Importance of a United Europe: We want to convey to the participants the importance and strength of a united Europe. Through their active involvement in the project, they are encouraged to understand and share the values of the European community. Self-Knowledge and Self-Organization: The project promotes participants' understanding of self-organization and enhances their ability to recognize and fulfill their own needs and desires. By actively engaging in the planning and implementation of the journey, the young people further develop their organizational skills. Inclusion in the 21st Century: Inclusion means that everyone can travel through Europe regardless of existing barriers. Our project emphasizes that participants—especially those with fewer opportunities—actively contribute to shaping their journey, giving them a sense of self-determination and inclusion. This approach aligns with the philosophy of our century, which aims to ensure participation for all. Mutual Learning and Personal Development: Participants are encouraged to actively engage with their peers, learn from one another, and promote their personal development. Through joint activities during the journey, they not only strengthen their social skills but also contribute to creating an inclusive learning community.
