By carrying out this association project we intend to contribute to achieving its social goals, consisting of CONNECTING young Galicians, promoting voluntary commitment, international mobility, as well as solidarity and intercultural understanding. Thus, with this project the organization aims to involve 10 rural young people and 2 companions or facilitators, to promote collective action and social inclusion, and to publicize the opportunities offered by different public initiatives such as the Erasmus+ Program to improve living conditions. . of the rural population and promote sustainable rural development. In particular, the specific objectives of the Project are the following: O1: Promote the development of sustainability skills within the GreenCOmp framework and intercultural dialogue of 10 young people with fewer opportunities and two companions in two short-term mobility flows (7 days) in different countries through discovery learning. O2: Become aware of the importance of sustainable rural development and the European Rural Pact by carrying out mobility flows through environmentally friendly environments, designing the respective itineraries along the “DiscoverEU Green Route”, and identifying good practices in the field of sustainability in other countries O3: Promote awareness campaigns in rural communities, driven by young people themselves, using new technologies to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by the EU in the areas of education, youth and volunteering, as well as the importance of the European Rural Pact , thus promoting a sense of initiative and active citizenship.
