The aim of the project was to strengthen members’ environmental awareness, develop competences needed for planning green social activities, and expand knowledge and skills related to the use of green technologies. Increasing self-confidence and applying the acquired knowledge in the organisation’s programmes were also key objectives. Development was measured through pre- and post-tests, providing a clear picture of competence changes.
The Kaán Károly Environmental Protection Association is a civil organisation engaged in environmental awareness-raising, education, and organising community programmes. The project was based on the fact that some members felt gaps in using green technologies, digital tools, and organising community activities. International mobilities provided opportunities to learn new methods and develop organisational capacities.
