The aim of the Nourishing Wilderness project is to create a 60-hour introductory training course on the nutritional and ecosystem role of wild plants. The experiential training will provide rural community members with knowledge transfer on plant identification, collection and use, thus increasing their food self-sufficiency, their resilience and their connection with nature. Participants in the training, whether rural NGOs or people in nodes, take on a long-term role.
