After a long time working on multiple projects, both individually and as associations, we realized the need for young people to learn about the Erasmus+ Program so that they could then develop or improvise new energizers, ice-breakers, team-building activities, and other related non-formal methods. We knew how effective, interactive, and inclusive those methods were and how much young people enjoyed them. On the other hand, we noticed how all activities tended to repeat themselves after several projects. We were already aware of a new approach was needed for young people to learn more about the Erasmus+ Program and to encourage and motivate young people and leaders to plan their activities in new ways, considering the participants' profiles and we believe that we have succeed it. We wanted to be able to create new tools collectively, taking into account the multiple diversities that inhabited the spaces—whether of gender, functionality, corporeality, or others. That was why we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to research, improvise, and create a new catalogue of energizers, ice-breakers, team-building, and other related non-formal methods that considered diversities and, at the same time, served as a motivational excuse to work on the use of audio-visuals to crystallize accessible digital catalogues. We might be new to Erasmus+ project applications, but some of our members had the chance to participate in different projects, and we were aware of how effective non-formal methods were in actively involving young people in productive activities. However, our organization has one of the most experienced youth workers team with huge experiences in working with teenagers. We already knew when young people learn new methods, they practice them, lead them, and also involved unorganized youth in such activities would help to increase active citizenship and their sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship. Our project aimed to provide young people with competencies, skills, and digital tools to help them become more active not only in the Erasmus+ Program but also in their society and we believe that we were successful.
