Objectives

By implementing the Project "On the trail of Santa Claus between digital, culture and nature", CINEGIOVANI APS intends to provide an opportunity for travel, training, non-formal learning, civic education, interculturality and knowledge of common European values to young people with fewer opportunities from rural backgrounds that are disadvantaged in various aspects and who are at risk of control by organized and local crime. In addition, CINEGIOVANI APS aims to develop and promote/improve the skills of her team (being a new organization with Erasmus+ projects) by giving new job opportunities to staff, volunteers and young people. Finally, CINEGIOVANI APS intends to provide participants, its staff and local communities with the opportunity to continue to believe in dreams, in fairy tales that can be realized and in their own projects without ever losing the relationship with the inner self that inhabits all of us. The audiences are five young people from the province of Taranto (or from southern Puglia including Brindisi and Lecce) who, accompanied by all the staff of CINEGIOVANI APS in the preparation phase and by two companions in the travel phase, will be able to discover themselves by developing their skills and knowledge. The travel will be through central and northern Europe and will end in the deep north, in Rovaniemi. Rovaniemi is a small village in Finnish Lapland famous for being on the line of the Arctic Circle and for being the home of Santa Claus and his village. The travel will be a sensory experience that, crossing various countries by train and/or bus, will cross the diversity and treasures of the European people as well as its beautiful unspoiled nature and the new frontiers of digital. The guides are part of CINEGIOVANI APS and are experts in the relationship with young people (especially with fewer opportunities) coming from disadvantaged backgrounds themselves and then realized through university studies and work. By implementing the project, we want to achieve the achievement of Erasmus+ objectives such as inclusion, diversity, digital transformation, respect for the environment, development of active participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement. Among our goals: - Mutual transfer of knowledge and skills (of all kinds, from linguistic to cultural to entrepreneurial, etc.) through non-formal education, equal relationships and democratic discussion; - Inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities in a European community that sees the "different" as a treasure and not as something to be avoided; - Transparency and respect for everyone's talents from the selection phase to dissemination and public graduation; Democratic and inclusive participation in all phases (including decision-making) of the project; - Development of personal autonomy and openness towards a bright future full of incentives, projects, work, partnerships, civic engagement both for participants with fewer opportunities and for our organization; -- Openness and knowledge of new digital technologies and companies aimed at the fair and environmentally friendly digital transformation; Knowledge of the new tools available to everyone for the creation of "storytelling" (online and offline), photo albums, videos, photos; - Raising awareness of the environment and environmentally friendly practices in everyday life (present and future); - Awareness and enhancement of the inner child that lives in all of us that allows us every day to continue to dream, live and fantasize.
