The main objective of the project was to offer young people with fewer opportunities the chance to take part in an international mobility experience that could foster their personal growth, autonomy and sense of belonging to Europe. Through travelling, the project aimed to reduce the barriers that often limit these young people's participation in international experiences, ensuring equal opportunities compared to their peers. The specific objectives of the project were: to increase self-confidence, autonomy and the ability to deal with new situations; to develop transversal skills such as problem-solving, communication, teamwork and adaptability; to promote knowledge of the European Union, its values and the principle of "unity in diversity"; to foster intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding through encounters with different people, cultures and realities; to actively involve participants in the planning and implementation of the travel experience, strengthening their sense of responsibility and participation; to encourage civic participation and motivation to take part in other opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme and in active citizenship initiatives. To make the learning experience more meaningful and connect it to the participants' interests, the project was structured around three thematic pathways chosen together with the young people: mental health and well-being, music and cultural expression, and environmental sustainability. Each group developed its own itinerary around one of these themes, with the aim of discovering European experiences and good practices and reflecting on how the knowledge and experiences gained could be adapted and transferred to their own local communities. In the long term, the project also aimed to strengthen the inclusion and participation of the young people involved, encouraging them to continue their engagement through further Erasmus+ experiences, volunteering activities and youth participation initiatives promoted by the organisation. The intention was therefore not to limit the project's impact to the travel experience itself, but to make it part of a broader and ongoing process of personal growth, participation and active European citizenship.
