The OversEU project was initiated following Changemakers Luxembourg's participation in an Erasmus+ activity organized by the Caribbean Education and Culture Foundation, where we witnessed the potential to strengthen connections between youth workers in the Caribbean and the BENELUX region. Recognizing the underexplored Erasmus+ opportunities in the Caribbean, we decided to carry out the OversEU project with the aim of enhancing cooperation and engagement between youth workers, educators, and organizations across the EU-Caribbean regions. By fostering strategic partnerships, sharing resources, and promoting capacity development, the project sought to increase awareness and accessibility to Erasmus+ initiatives in the Caribbean while empowering young individuals and advancing EU-Caribbean cooperation. In alignment with the EU Commission's emphasis on reinforcing bi-regional cooperation, the project aimed to bridge divides and promote collaboration across various spheres, including social, educational, civic, and economic domains. Key project objectives included strengthening ties between stakeholders, facilitating the exchange of good practices, enhancing the skills of youth workers, and promoting capacity development in youth work. Through activities such as webinars, round table meetings, and strategic partnerships, the OversEU project empowered youth workers and NGOs in the Caribbean, ultimately enhancing their engagement with the Erasmus+ program and fostering EU-Caribbean collaboration. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGGr1e5PlAU/?igsh=MWdrdnRzZmV5cXFjNg==
