The EngageEU: Young Voices Shaping European Digital Policy project aimed to empower young people from Malta, Spain, Türkiye and Latvia to actively engage in shaping digital policies at the European level. Its main objectives were to strengthen youth participation in democratic life, enhance digital citizenship skills, and foster critical thinking around online rights, misinformation, and civic technology. Through non-formal education and youth-led activities, the project enabled participants to co-create policy ideas, engage with decision-makers, and become multipliers of democratic values within their communities.
