Objectives

The core motivation behind the implementation of this project was the growing need to address discrimination, intolerance, and social exclusion—issues that continue to affect communities across Europe and beyond. In today’s interconnected world, where migration, cultural diversity, and social challenges are more visible than ever, it is crucial to equip young people with the knowledge, tools, and experiences that allow them to act as advocates for inclusion, respect, and equality. This project aimed to create a safe and empowering space where 30 young people from diverse cultural, social, and national backgrounds could come together, learn from one another, and explore the values of inclusion and solidarity. Through a rich program of artistic expression, intercultural exchange, and non-formal education, the project provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on their own identities, challenge prejudices, and foster mutual respect. Aim: To combat discrimination by fostering understanding, appreciation, and celebration of cultural diversity. Objectives: - To empower 30 young people from diverse backgrounds to actively engage in combating discrimination in their communities - To promote art as an effective tool for exploring the concept of inclusion and inspiring participants to become ambassadors of inclusive societies - To encourage international and intercultural dialogue, enhancing tolerance and intercultural awareness among the 30 participants - To educate participants on key values such as pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, fairness, solidarity, and equality, equipping them to advocate for inclusion - To create meaningful opportunities for young people to discover and appreciate different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, thereby fostering empathy and mutual understanding The long-term vision of the project was to inspire a ripple effect: participants would not only benefit personally but would return to their communities motivated to spread the messages of acceptance and respect. By investing in the capacity and creativity of young people, the project aimed to build a more inclusive and tolerant Europe, one that embraces diversity as a strength rather than a challenge. Through this initiative, we did not just talk about inclusion, we lived it, co-created it, and built bridges between people who may have never met otherwise. The result was a shared experience that challenged stereotypes, nurtured empathy, and empowered youth to stand up against discrimination in all its forms.
