The project sought to strengthen the integration of Ukrainian adult refugees through innovative training and practical resources for organisations working with migrants. More specifically, it aimed to: improve intercultural communication and constructive dialogue; develop creativity and problem-solving as tools for adaptation; strengthen co-creation, teamwork, and civic participation; reduce social isolation; and equip NGOs, educators, and community organisations with reusable methods and guidance.
The project was designed in response to the urgent integration needs of Ukrainian refugees displaced by the full-scale war. Across partner countries, refugees faced not only language and labour-market barriers, but also isolation, reduced confidence, and a lack of accessible, human-centred learning formats that would help them reconnect with local communities. The consortium therefore aimed to create practical educational tools that combine dialogue, creativity, co-creation, and interaction, so that integration is supported not only administratively but also socially and emotionally.
