Through the implementation of the project, we aimed to develop the competences of 5 CCD Vrancea trainers in the field of sustainable development and environmental sustainability, as well as to build multicultural civic competences for 5 trainers. We also sought to increase the trainers’ involvement in developing a civic responsibility partnership network with at least 10 adult education institutions during the 2025–2026 school year.
Casa Corpului Didactic “Simion Mehedinți” Vrancea is a public, non-profit adult education institution with a role in the continuous professional development of teaching staff in the county. The project “European Training for Active Citizenship” stemmed from the need to develop trainers’ competences in education for sustainable development, environmental responsibility, multicultural education, and active citizenship, so that these could later be integrated into the CCD’s training offer.
