Objectives

The aim of the project was to create new innovative educational aids and subsequently use them effectively in the educational process in the field of special education , with the potential to be universal aids, i.e. used at all levels of education. The application of our 3D teaching aids in the educational process for disabled students has achieved a new quantitative and qualitative effect, strengthening student participation in the educational process and increasing their cognitive abilities and creativity.

Background

The applicant has extensive experience with the application of 3D consoles in the educational process. He has long focused on supporting environmental education for young people. In his work, he pays special attention to students with visual and hearing impairments. In the Environdotyky project, he used his experience with the application of 3D consoles, which he adapted in terms of content and technology so that even students with special educational needs could perceive the urgent needs of society and express an active attitude towards environmental protection. He took into account the fact that it is difficult to use the usual methods of environmental education in schools with a group of students with sensory impairments. At the same time, in full cooperation with teachers and special educators, he respected the requirements of the state educational program for secondary school students. This approach made it possible to identify the needs of individual groups of students with disabilities, which were addressed in individual subjects as well as in interdisciplinary relationships. The aim of this project was also to provide 3D teaching aids, which had not previously been available in such quality in the educational process.
