Goals and objectives of the project: Engaging participants in youth work: Participants will be able to engage young people in all phases of the youth work process at the local level in collaboration with local authorities. Equip youth workers and leaders to support young people's self-organization: The goal is to support increasing mentoring capacity of youth workers to support young people so that they can self-organize and actively contribute to societal activities. Developing competencies of youth workers: Enhancing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of youth workers in line with the principles of the EU Youth Strategy 2027 in the field of participation for the area of participation support, capacity building of youth workers and the development of informal education in the topic of participation + introduction of the Democracy Reloading app to youth work Intersectoral and intrasectoral collaboration: Supporting information exchange about plans and activities with local, national, and European youth stakeholders and actively engaging in collaboration. Implementation of the 5 Steps to Municipality methodology: The goal is to empower participants to use this methodology to support the development of youth work and their participation at the local level. Implementation of the Democracy Reloading tool: Utilizing this tool to support youth participation and communication with local authorities. Developing non-formal education programs: Focusing on the development of programs for young people across different sectors, such as schools, NGOs, youth clubs, community centers, and local governments in the topics of participation, motivation of young people to be involved in the community, ladder of participation, visions of work with youth at the level of self-government. Improving the mapping of needs and analysis of the state of local authorities: The goal is to improve the mapping of needs and analyze the state at the local level using appropriate methodologies. Supporting the international dimension of youth work: Encouraging exchange programs and cooperation between local authorities at the national and international levels. Building partnerships and networks: The goal is to support partnerships and networks at the national and international levels for the exchange of best practices and experiences in the field of youth participation.
