Our Youth Transformation NEETwork (YouNEET) Erasmus+ project focused on empowering young people, particularly those at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training), through social entrepreneurship. In response to high youth unemployment and the difficulties young people faced in entering the labor market, Our project activity hosted 42 participants from six partner organizations, including leaders, equipping them with critical thinking, knowledge, and entrepreneurial skills necessary to become social entrepreneurs. Our project activities aimed to help participants understand the context of social entrepreneurship, raise awareness of the opportunities and tools available, and enable them to contribute proactively to their communities by turning ideas into meaningful social actions. By promoting social entrepreneurship, YouNEET addressed key social, economic, and environmental challenges while supporting youth in transitioning from unemployment to self-sufficiency.
