Objectives

Our project aims to foster self-resilience among LGBTQI+ youth by creating youth participation activities within Safe(r) learning spaces based on non-formal learning methods. These activities will prioritise giving agency to the often overlooked subgroup, queer int. protection seekers. 1. Organise three Youth-Led Dialogues with local LGBTQI+ youth to explore their participation needs in Belgium’s socio-cultural life. 2. Over 12 months, host weekly events that build LGBTQI+ youth's capacities in civic participation, advocacy, and rights, empowering them to engage in societal change. 3. Create a year-long programme of Safe(r) Space events for queer, migrant, and neurodivergent youth to ensure inclusive participation. 4. Involve at least 15 youth in event co-development and implementation 5. Engage over 100 youth from diverse backgrounds in civic participation initiatives to enhance belonging and agency.
