Objectives

By implementing the project, we aimed to raise awareness and strengthen critical thinking among young people on topics related to fast fashion, sustainable consumption, and greenwashing, while motivating them to take real action in their communities. The main objectives of the project were: To develop knowledge and understanding of the impact of fast fashion on the environment and society Participants explored real-life cases, from clothing production to labour exploitation and pollution, leading to deeper awareness of the issue. To build skills for identifying greenwashing and misleading marketing practices Through interactive activities and group work, participants learned to distinguish between genuinely sustainable practices and superficial marketing strategies. To enhance critical thinking and informed decision-making The project supported participants in analysing information, questioning sources, and making more conscious consumer choices. To develop digital and communication skills Through the creation of 7 digital books and active engagement on social media, participants improved their ability to create content, collaborate, and communicate ideas effectively. To encourage active participation and civic engagement Participants were motivated to share their knowledge through local events, workshops, and online content. To ensure sustainability and future impact New project ideas were developed, providing a basis for future initiatives under Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. Overall, the project aimed not only to inform, but to transform attitudes and behaviours-from passive consumers into active and responsible citizens.
