With the project, we aim to conduct a 7-day training course with 38 youth workers from 9 different European countries. Our goal is to improve the digital literacy of youth workers and young people by teaching them effective strategies for recognizing and dealing with online threats and cyberviolence. The aim is to provide specific tools and knowledge that will help youth workers and young people to be better protected in the digital space and respond adequately in case of cyberattacks. The main objectives of the project are: ● Developing skills to recognize online threats, including cyberattacks and fake images created using artificial intelligence. ● Raising awareness about cyberbullying and cyberviolence, including recognizing algorithmic harassment and its impact on young people. ● Training youth workers to acquire tools for protection from cyberattacks and steps to take in case of cyberviolence or threat. ● Developing critical thinking and digital skills to ensure safe use of social media and the internet. ● Organizing nine workshops after the mobility in the consortium countries to disseminate the acquired knowledge among young people and youth workers in these communities. The project will contribute to the training of youth workers by equipping them with skills that are crucial for their work. They will be able to support young people in situations of cyberattacks or violence by providing necessary steps and psychological support. Additionally, workshops will be organized in the consortium countries after the mobility to spread this knowledge to a wider audience. Through the project, we will create a lasting protective effect, as trained youth workers continue to disseminate the knowledge gained during the training course even after its completion. In the long term, the youth workers and the organizations they work with will be able to pass on this knowledge to future generations of young people and youth workers, ensuring the sustainable development of skills for protection and resistance against online threats.
