Objectives

The "4NEET" project is committed to solving the complex challenges facing young people from the so-called NEET group - those who are not involved in education, employment or training. Our main goal is to strengthen the abilities of youth workers and organizations to provide active support to this group of young people, facilitating their integration into the spheres of work, education and training. Need analyses and Strategic Priorities After extensive needs research within our organization, supplemented by a SWOT analysis among our partner consortium and extensive surveys among youth workers, we have identified key areas requiring urgent attention: - A large majority of youth workers highlighted the need to improve the ability to provide individualized career guidance and identify development opportunities that meet the dynamic demands of today's labor market. - a need is identified for a deeper understanding of the challenges facing NEET youth today, emphasizing the importance of specialized strategies for inclusive youth work. -: There has been significant interest in innovative training on social inclusion methods and practices aimed at more effectively integrating NEET youth into the community and reducing their social isolation. - More than 80% of youth workers expressed the need to develop innovative tools, Preventive Strategies and Support Mechanisms and methodologies to actively identify and support youth at risk to prevent them from falling into the NEET category. The project offers a carefully structured program including professional development, collaborative learning and hands-on workshops. All of these are aimed at equipping youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support NEET youth. This ensures that training directly addresses identified needs and has a significant impact on the quality of youth work and the well-being of NEET youth in local communities. With this targeted and needs-based strategy, "4NEET" aims to bring about substantial and lasting change in the field of youth work in partner communities, being specifically adapted to the challenges and opportunities associated with the NEET phenomenon. In the context of youth work, the project sets out a number of specific objectives to ensure this objective: • Familiarize youth workers with advanced non-formal education methods to effectively address challenges related to NEET situations. This goal emphasizes providing youth workers with opportunities to empower NEET youth, turning their hidden potentials into real opportunities for growth and community engagement. • Enhancing the skills of youth workers to implement various interventions and support mechanisms aimed at preventing the risk of youth falling into NEET status. It includes guidance on supporting young people who have left school early and developing proactive strategies to engage young people before they drop out of education, employment or training. • Strengthening the capacity of youth workers to support young people in the transition from education to the labor market. Aims to provide youth workers with knowledge and tools, including the use of the Erasmus+ program and other EU initiatives, to improve the employability of NEET young people and promote their inclusion in education or training programs and in the labor market. • Enhancing the skills and competence of youth workers to recognize and address the employment challenges of NEET youth. Provides targeted training for personalized career guidance and skills development strategies, providing practical tools and methodologies to address individual needs and tailor support plans that promote employment and personal development
