Main topic: Communication and building positive relationships as a way to mental health. The main topic was chosen as a result of an analysis of needs of previous and potential participants, European young people. We have made a survey and asked young people in different countries and used the results for creating the project's main objectives. Main objectives: Learning about communication styles, focusing on assertiveness and related skills (constructive feedback, setting boundaries, nonverbal communication, knowledge of assertive rights) Gaining direct experiences with active listening, empathy, directed attention, exploring feelings of trust and what the participants need to develop them Acquiring knowledge and skills from non-violent communication, gaining better understanding of own needs and ways to communicate them, respecting the needs of others Increasing knowledge about the mental health situation in participating countries and psychological help available in participants´ own country Learning the basics of psychological first aid and understanding the needs of people dealing with emotionally difficult situations.
