By implementing the Youth for Inclusion project, we raised awareness among young people about important issues such as discrimination, social exclusion, and hate speech. We wanted participants to better understand how these problems affect individuals and communities, both online and offline. Another important objective was to build the knowledge and skills of young people regarding human rights and practical strategies to recognize and effectively confront hate speech and discrimination in their daily lives. We promoted inclusion and respect by fostering empathy and understanding among participants. To achieve this, we used innovative educational methods such as ‘human libraries,’ where people from marginalized groups shared their personal stories. This approach helped break down stereotypes and encouraged participants to see different perspectives. Additionally, the project encouraged open dialogue and intercultural exchange by creating safe spaces where young people from diverse backgrounds could share their experiences and learn from one another.
