In the summer of 2025, young people from Italy, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Ukraine met in Hamburg for two weeks to explore different artistic styles and work on a performance. At the project's conclusion, scenic, choreographic, and spoken interpretations of the themes explored were presented publicly on the stage of the MUT-Theater in Hamburg. We examined these young people's experiences with migration and their desire for a dignified future, loss and longing, as well as the diversity in their countries of origin. Through the project, the young people questioned stereotypes, learned more about others and about themselves, and the participating organizations gained new experience in international youth work.
