The primary goal of the project was to prepare young people for the era of Artificial Intelligence by fostering thoughtful, responsible, and active citizenship, moving beyond mere technical proficiency to explore how AI directly impacts daily life, employment, education, and democratic engagement. To accomplish this, the project was designed with five specific objectives: to demystify AI by helping participants understand its history and mechanics while identifying risks like digital bias and misinformation; to build practical skills through hands-on experience with tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT; to encourage civic engagement by introducing local and EU-level digital policies; to emphasize inclusion by engaging young people facing socio-economic barriers to demonstrate how technology can solve real-world challenges; and to foster European values by strengthening solidarity and intercultural understanding across borders.
