The project was implemented in Kocaeli, Türkiye, between 1–10 October 2025 with the aim of responding to the growing need for stronger digital, media, and online citizenship skills among young people. During the preparation phase, partner organisations identified that many young people actively used digital tools and social media but lacked deeper awareness of online safety, digital responsibility, critical thinking, and the long-term impact of digital behaviour on their personal and professional lives. Through this youth exchange, the project aimed to create a safe and inclusive learning space where young people from different countries could come together, share experiences, and reflect on their daily digital practices. The main objective was to support participants in developing practical digital competences while also strengthening their understanding of ethics, privacy, misinformation, and responsible participation in the digital world. Another key objective was to encourage active citizenship and intercultural dialogue by using digital topics as a common ground. The project also sought to empower young people with fewer opportunities by giving them equal access to international mobility, non-formal learning methods, and peer learning. Overall, the project aimed to increase young people’s confidence, awareness, and motivation to use digital tools in a more conscious, safe, and socially responsible way.
