Objectives

Through our innovative project,we aspire to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious and empowered youth who recognize the urgency of addressing our planet's pressing challenges. Our primary goal is to instill a profound sense of ecoliteracy, green awareness, and sustainability principles among young individuals.By equipping them with knowledge and practical tools, we aim to nurture a community of environmentally responsible citizens who can champion positive change. In the context of the first mobility, our specific objectives include fostering ecoliteracy and providing a foundational understanding of green and sustainability issues. We seek to empower young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to educate, inspire, and take responsibility as environmentally conscious citizens. Our aim is to go beyond conventional learning, encouraging a systems view of life that enables young minds to generate innovative solutions to global problems.By equipping participants with the tools to educate and inspire their peers, we align with the principles of youth work that emphasize peer-to-peer learning and the power of collective influence. Our project recognizes that the complex challenges our planet faces require holistic thinking and systemic solutions. Therefore, from a youth work perspective, our specific objective is to instill a systems view of life into the minds and hearts of the young participants. This approach aligns with the principles of youth work, which often seeks to empower young individuals not just with knowledge but with the critical thinking skills necessary to analyze and address interconnected issues. As we transition to the second mobility, our focus turns to inspiring and equipping young people to actively participate in addressing climate change and broader environmental issues. We envision a transformative learning experience centered around upcycling, sustainability, and ecological awareness.Through hands-on activities centered around upcycling and sustainability, participants will not only gain practical skills but also experience the sense of agency that youth work endeavors to cultivate. This approach is in line with the participatory nature of youth work, where young people are encouraged to be active contributors rather than passive recipients of knowledge By engaging participants in creative and hands-on activities, we aim to impart practical skills, instill a deep appreciation for sustainable practices, and foster a genuine commitment to environmental stewardship. From a youth work perspective, our project's holistic learning experiences aim to go beyond traditional education. We seek to create a community of informed and empowered youth who, armed with practical skills and a deep commitment to environmental responsibility, become ambassadors for sustainable living. The project's emphasis on engagement, reflection, and the application of knowledge aligns with the participatory and experiential nature of youth work, ensuring that young individuals emerge not only with awareness but with the agency to drive positive change in their communities. Ultimately, our project seeks to achieve a paradigm shift in youth culture, promoting a sustainable and mindful way of living. We aim to drive change in consumer behavior, encouraging a shift from a disposable culture to one that values resourcefulness and sustainability.Through practical guidance, step-by-step instructions, and hands-on experiences,we intend to empower young individuals to not only understand the impact of waste and consumption on the environment but also actively contribute to positive change in their communities. In summary, our project's overarching objective is to inspire, educate, and engage young individuals in a journey toward a more sustainable future. We want to create a ripple effect where environmentally aware and responsible youth emerge as leaders and influencers, driving forward the principles of upcycling, sustainability, and ecological consciousness.
