Objectives

The youth exchange was designed to promote intercultural understanding and friendship between nations. Through a wide range of activities and shared experiences, it aimed to enrich the participants on a personal level and contribute to their personal development. The project sought to raise young people's awareness of cultural and intercultural issues, foster open-mindedness, and encourage tolerance towards different perspectives and ways of life. It aimed to spark curiosity about other cultures and lifestyles while also strengthening participants' media literacy and entrepreneurial thinking. Another key objective was to increase participants' awareness of environmental issues and equip them with relevant knowledge and practical competences. The project also intended to inspire young people to become involved in voluntary and civic engagement. The many diverse, new, and unique experiences were intended to strengthen the participants' self-confidence, self-esteem, and overall ability to act independently and responsibly. The exchange offered participants the opportunity to meet other young people of the same age who shared similar interests, build friendships across national borders, and strengthen relationships within their own national groups. The project was also designed to create a broad public impact by raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging civic engagement among a wider audience. Participants explored the topic of water in depth, examining its importance for both people and nature, the threats it faces, and the actions individuals can take to protect and conserve this vital resource. During the youth exchange, participants developed three projects that they would continue to implement after returning home, with the aim of encouraging others to contribute to water conservation and protection. In addition, the youth exchange provided participants with valuable opportunities to improve their foreign language skills.
