Our project’s central goal was to empower young people with increased awareness of other cultures, building empathy and fostering respect for diverse backgrounds. We wanted to create a more fair, equitable, and peaceful society for all by enabling young people to transcend cultural gaps, build empathy, and promote tolerance. As stated below, we aimed to - mitigate the rise of radicalism and the decline of empathy among European youth, - build intercultural competence through providing structured opportunities for participants to develop the skills and attitudes necessary for success in a globalized society, - develop global citizenship and enable the participants to become active, engaged global citizens who can confidently navigate modern complexities, - encourage a first-hand interaction between youth from different cultures to exchange opinions, customs, and values, - empower the participants to act as advocates for empathy and tolerance, generating a beneficial ripple effect in their local communities, - promote cooperation by facilitating cross-border collaboration and the exchange of ideas among participating organizations and youth, - support development by encouraging participants to step out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves in a new environment. Through this project, we objected to empower young people to become active and engaged global citizens who are able to navigate the complexities of today’s world with confidence and competence. We believe that by providing young people with the opportunity to learn about different cultures and to challenge them in a new environment, we could be helpful to them to develop the skills and attitudes that are necessary for success in an increasingly interconnected world. All in all, we aimed to make a contribution to the overall goal of the Erasmus+ program, which is to promote the inclusion of young people and support their personal, educational, and professional development through international exchange and cooperation.
