Objectives

The project aimed to support Ukrainian young people with refugee and migration backgrounds in Germany by creating a safe and creative space for participation, self-expression, and civic engagement. Through artistic methods, non-formal education, and dialogue with decision-makers, we wanted to strengthen participants’ confidence, social inclusion, teamwork, and understanding of democratic participation processes on local and European levels. The main objectives of the project were to develop participants’ skills in project management, communication, filmmaking, social media, and advocacy, while also raising awareness about inclusion and integration challenges faced by young refugees. Another important goal was to encourage peer-to-peer support and create project outcomes that could inspire and inform other young people with similar experiences.
