The POV – Portrait of Values project empowers young creatives from smaller cities and towns to develop their visual language through portrait photography. It aims to foster community engagement by encouraging participants to document their surroundings and share their stories, while promoting self-expression and empathy across diverse perspectives. The project provides accessible learning opportunities through workshops and open calls, culminating in exhibitions in Chemnitz and Zwönitz in 2025. Key achievements the creation of a self-published photography magazine (Zine), and urban displays (Litfaß-Action) that stimulate dialogue on community values, ultimately enriching artistic opportunities and fostering a sense of belonging among youth in rural areas.
