The objectives of the project "Showing ways into other European countries and creating cohesion" are wide-ranging. The primary aim is to show participants at the events what opportunities a stay abroad in the EU offers. The project reaches a large number of young people throughout Saxony and talk to them about the advantages and opportunities of mobility and exchange. This should strengthen the cosmopolitanism of the participants and open up new perspectives for them in order to strengthen the European idea in the young generation and strengthen European cohesion. This also takes place in the island project days on the environment and climate, which encourage young people to design their own utopias while learning to understand the real problems of climate change. The events are organised by teamers who are trained in non-formal education and use the peer-to-peer approach to spread and strengthen the European idea.
