This project "Model European Parlaiment 2025 - A young journey into the heart of European democracy! was about strenthening european and demoratic awareness in the EU and beyond. The aim of our project was to give young people the opportunity to get involved in European politics by diving in topics relevant to them. Youth Empowerment paves the way to involvement and to meaningful participate in shaping their own future. A process of awareness and skills building lead to greater decision-making power and transformative action. This project promoted debates on topics set by EU Youth Dialogue, like Inclusive societies. It aimed to obtain outcomes which are useful for policymaking in Europe. We wanted to realize the promiss of Art. 165 EU Treaty on youth participation in terms of needs and future aspirations. Many non-formal activities made the project a real asset for soft skills and learning outcomes. All this will hopefully make the youth and our societies more resilient against the current crisis, the feeling of exclusion and anti-democratic attitudes.
