Objectives

Our project aims to address the pressing issue of inadequate recycling practices in Latvia, Turkey, Greece, and broader Europe by engaging young people in a Youth Exchange program. We seek to enhance recycling skills and awareness among youth, utilizing collaborative art as a method to foster deeper engagement. By integrating creative activities with environmental education, we aim to boost participants' understanding of recycling and promote proactive participation in waste management. The project will also focus on cultural integration, leveraging the diverse backgrounds of our participants to enrich their learning experience. Through this approach, we aim to develop effective recycling behaviors and empower youth to lead environmental initiatives in their communities. The objectives of the project are as follows: - To ensure participants get informed about the fundamental concepts of recycling, its environmental impacts, and various national recycling practices, thereby ensuring they gain in-depth knowledge about recycling processes and environmental protection. -To equip participants with the skills needed to create artistic works using recycled materials and apply different art techniques including collaborative and digital art techniques, thereby increasing their proficiency in both artistic and digital applications as well as enhancing their environmental consciousness by engaging participants in activities that highlight the significance of recycling and creative expression -To increase participants' cultural awareness and appreciation by demonstrating how different cultural artistic expressions integrate with environmental responsibility, thereby encouraging them to value cultural diversity and improving their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills in a diverse group setting -To empower participants to develop and implement effective action plans for recycling and environmental initiatives by employing art, encouraging proactive involvement in promoting sustainability within their communities by equipping them with the skills to design and implement impactful projects in their communities -To inform the participants about the functionality of Erasmus+ programs in solving the common problems of the European Union and to encourage them to take part in other projects and write projects
