Objectives

The modern reality of non-formal education is constantly changing in an increasingly digital context, making artificial intelligence particularly valuable in the learning field. In the framework of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Programme, the need to implement a project has arisen to help 25 young participants to learn new digital AI tools, the potential of AI as a tool for their personal and professional development and its correct use both in terms of ethical aspects and in terms of how to identify AI generated material. Essentially, through this action KA152, a mobility project for young people aims to implement a mobility project for young people with the ultimate aim of integrating technical intelligence into non-formal education. After discussions that have been carried out with all partner institutions, we have concluded that a very useful outcome of this exchange will be the creation of an adapted AI model on non-formal education in order to help young people in their actions. The integration of AI in the modern reality, highlighting the importance of digital literacy and the development of digital readiness, resilience and competence of young people is a central theme of the project. The fact that digital work is an everyday part of young people's lives, we aim for the project to have an impact on more than 3000 people. The project has been organised from its early stages to highlight equal interaction between participants and to promote an inclusive climate of creativity and innovation through the application of AI tools. In particular, our aim is to engage all participants in the digital world through more engaging, personalised and inclusive learning experiences that are aligned with the priorities of the European Union's youth strategy and the objectives of Erasmus+. Our activities have been based on learning AI detection tools in order to know if the texts we read are AI generated or created with the help of AI. In addition because we want to bridge the gap in AI information gaps, our project will create a digital platform for the exchange of tools, best practices and collaborative projects between youth organizations in order to minimise redundancy and promote innovation. We will apply these through the use of artificial intelligence to create realistic simulations or role-plays that reflect complex real-world scenarios, helping young participants to practice problem-solving, language skills or cultural negotiations. By focusing on digital literacy, capacity building, promoting collaboration and empowering young people, the project aims to create lasting impacts that address immediate challenges and contribute to the long-term development of a digitally literate, engaged and collaborative youth sector across Europe. In summary, the objectives of the project are: - To understand the concept of AI and to introduce the basic concepts of AI. - To present applications of AI in the fields of education and youth entrepreneurship. - Improving the existing AI-related competences of young people. - Encouraging young people's participation in innovation and sustainability objectives. - To promote inclusion and diversity through AI training on democratic values. - Developing collaboration and teamwork skills by promoting the exchange of ideas. - Cultivating the creativity of young participants through the use of artificial intelligence tools. - Strengthening the digital skills defined in the European Digital Skills Framework 'DigComp' (information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, security and problem solving) - To promote digital entrepreneurship skills in youth, encouraging participants to act on opportunities and helping them to create a plan to implement their ideas. - To develop the critical thinking of young participants by enhancing their recognition- understanding and management of AI generated material. - To highlight the importance of Erasmus+ projects.
