The Pioneers of Rural Change project empowers young people in rural areas to become leaders and active community participants through the Rural Youth Leadership Academy. It addresses challenges like limited access to leadership training and community participation by providing practical opportunities for applying democratic principles. The initiative focuses on developing leadership skills and civic responsibility through structured programs in public speaking and project management, with an emphasis on inclusivity for disadvantaged youth. Aligning with Erasmus+ objectives and the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, the project fosters engagement in meaningful community projects to bridge the participation gap between rural and urban areas. Ultimately, it aims to promote sustainable civic participation and democratic values among rural youth.
