With the implementation of the project we want to improve the emotional wellbeing of young people, get closer to generation Z and make them active protagonists. There will be activities and dynamics to promote mental health with adolescents from Numancia de la Sagra and the collaborating countries. Among the objectives are: - To develop a European exchange with young people on emotions and emotional health through practical and dynamic workshops planned by themselves on art therapy, environment, youth participation and art. -To promote the participation of young people both local and from the other countries attending the exchange during the whole process (preparation, development and later evaluation). -Encourage youth participation through the creation of workshops and activities organized by the young participants. -To make an exhibition with all the work developed during the workshops of the week directed to the whole community of Numancia de la Sagra, including events, activities, workshops. - To promote among the young participants a cross-cutting work of responsible consumption and prevention of consumption of toxic substances (alcohol, drugs), demonstrating that activities can be organized without the need to consume alcohol. - Encourage community participation, involving the parents of the participants and the whole community to participate in the event and the activities we organize. The purpose of each practice will be focused on working on the personal development of each adolescent, focusing particularly on self-esteem and communication (verbal and non-verbal), to enhance the security and decision of each adolescent, and therefore, their emotional responsibility and emotional management. These tools are also powerful tools of self-knowledge, something very important at an age when, on numerous occasions, we do not know very well what we like, what to choose, what we feel like or who we really are. At a general level: Due to the economic situation that our municipality and neighboring towns are going through, coupled with the difficulties to study (lack of places in middle grade cycles, high fees for university studies) and also the feeling that getting a job is almost impossible ... the young people of our people are seeing our future opportunities diminished. Therefore, with this exchange we want to activate youth mobility and put an end to the “No Future Syndrome” from which we will work on the motivation of young people to try to see, within a pleasant working environment, that we are the basis for changing the present and the future, that we are the change. Dealing with the reality of young people from their own experiences and sharing them with other young people was the main objective of the development of the exchange. Evidently we need an axis that can make this be argued and organized in some way. Expressing one's own feelings and defining oneself personally and as a group are actions that young people may find difficult to verbalize. Therefore, the objectives of the activities are going to try to know the youth reality, in its context of small municipality and to see if it is extrapolated to other larger contexts or even to different contexts such as other European countries. If we analyze the different realities, perhaps we will find the same difficulties, but surely there are common elements that make this reality not so different. European homogenization is a key element, its global awareness and recognition, surely a catalyst to discover this reality, to discover its difficulties, and to advance in the construction of a future community discovering that there are not so many differences between a young person from Spain and a young person from another European country. Why self-discovery and self-awareness is the final element of work through the activities. To create new European citizens with interests, socially participative and with a feeling of belonging to a common element: Europe. Finally, it will serve to address issues such as conflict resolution through consensus, multilingualism and active listening. In our municipality the level of English is very low, so during the whole exchange the common language will be English, which will allow the participants to improve their level. The creative methodologies and the development of workshops will also allow us to learn about ourselves while we have fun and with elements very close to us we will be able to experiment and share our reflections with our companions. We will use morning exercises to clear our heads and gain confidence with the group, as well as to improve the self-esteem and participation of the young people.
