The EuroBusiness: NextGen Entrepreneurship Connect project aims to address the lack of knowledge and fear of entrepreneurship at an early age, such as young people, whether at local, national or international level. In addition, it aims to enrich the participants with knowledge about this field. The main motivation behind this project, led by the Alguazas City Council, is the need to empower young people by providing them with knowledge, skills and a stronger perspective on youth entrepreneurship. Through the practice of youth work, the project aims to achieve several objectives: 1. to inspire and motivate young people to consider entrepreneurship as a viable option for their professional future. 2. To help young people overcome the fear of failure or making mistakes in the entrepreneurial process. 3. To introduce participants to essential concepts of entrepreneurship, such as the generation of business ideas, financial planning, marketing, and business management. 4. To foster key skills necessary for entrepreneurship, such as critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, teamwork and decision making. 5. To get to know the work done by local entrepreneurs so that they can learn from their real experiences and ask questions about their doubts and fears. 6. To allow young people from different countries to share experiences and approaches to entrepreneurship in their local contexts. 7. Encourage collaboration between young people to co-create business ideas or innovative projects during the exchange. 8. To inform young people about youth entrepreneurship support programmes that exist in their countries and in the European Union, such as grants, etc. 9. Promote open discussions about young people's personal fears towards entrepreneurship, such as fear of failure, lack of knowledge or social pressure. 10. Create an environment in which young people can learn in a non-formal way, through practical activities, group dynamics, workshops and simulations. 11. To increase young people's self-confidence and ability to act independently, helping them to believe in their capacity to set up their own projects. 12. To motivate young people to take the initiative in their lives, promoting a proactive attitude both professionally and personally. 13. To facilitate the creation of connections and networks between young people from different European countries, fostering long-term relationships that promote collaboration and exchange of ideas even after the project. 14. Foster the development of transversal skills: Participants will acquire valuable skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership, which are essential for their personal growth and future professional paths. The project will particularly focus on supporting young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring their inclusion and participation in shaping a better European community. In short, the practical aim of the project is to empower young people, providing them with the tools and perspective necessary to be active citizens ready for future entrepreneurship without fear and ignorance. Participants should leave more confident, motivated and equipped to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
