"YOU4Culture" arises from the need to promote the cultural richness of Europe in all its facets among young people, and with it, the importance of fostering inclusivity through multiculturalism in Europe. For this purpose, the project will involve predominantly young people at risk of social exclusion, so they can learn about their origins, the values of the EU, and the brotherhood among all its countries, peoples, and cultures through the great variety of cultures that populate our continent. The aim is to minimize aspects such as racism, xenophobia, and intolerance, while fostering a sense of pride in belonging to the European Union. The city of Madrid, a model of democracy, tolerance, and multiculturalism, provides a perfect setting for the development of this project. We believe it is crucial to promote intercultural understanding, active citizenship, and conflict resolution skills among young people. The project aligns with one of the main objectives and values of the European Union within its borders about the EU values and respects the cultural diversity of its member states. It promotes the richness of the traditions, languages, and cultures of different countries and regions and it strives to foster cultural diversity through policies that support cultural creation and exchange across Europe. It also promotes equitable access to culture for all citizens, regardless of their social or economic background. This includes supporting initiatives that allow people to participate in cultural and artistic activities.
