Objectives

Project Objectives from the Perspective of Youth Work: Improving inclusion and accessibility in youth activities: Objective: To develop a more inclusive approach in youth work by facilitating the active participation of young people with disabilities. We aim to create environments where all young people, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds, can fully participate and benefit from educational and recreational activities. Youth work perspective: Ensure that youth activities are accessible and designed for everyone, which involves adapting methodologies and removing physical, social, and psychological barriers for young people with special needs. Strengthening youth workers' skills in inclusion and diversity: Objective: To provide youth workers with tools and methodologies to enhance their ability to manage diversity and inclusion, allowing them to work effectively with young people from different backgrounds. Youth work perspective: Promote a non-formal learning environment that trains youth workers to implement inclusive practices in their activities, integrating principles of equality and accessibility into their daily work with young people. Promoting experiential learning and non-formal education: Objective: To use experiential learning methods to foster the personal, social, and professional development of young people. We want young people to acquire key skills such as leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork through practical and dynamic activities. Youth work perspective: Integrate non-formal learning as a core component of youth activities, recognizing that practical, experience-based learning is essential for the comprehensive development of young people. Developing a network of collaboration between youth organizations: Objective: To create an international network of youth organizations that can exchange best practices and collaborate on future projects focused on inclusion and youth empowerment. Youth work perspective: Encourage the creation of connections and alliances between youth workers and organizations from different countries, enabling the exchange of experiences and the development of joint projects that benefit youth communities at local, regional, and European levels. Raising awareness about the importance of social inclusion and accessibility: Objective: To raise awareness among young people, youth workers, and communities about the importance of social inclusion and accessibility in youth activities. We want young people to become agents of change in their own communities, promoting equal opportunities for all. Youth work perspective: Develop projects that not only offer inclusive activities but also help change attitudes and perceptions about disability and diversity, fostering a more inclusive and respectful environment. Expected Results: Improvement in youth work practices through the implementation of inclusive approaches. Development of competencies in youth workers, enabling them to work with young people from diverse backgrounds and with various needs. Increased active participation of young people with disabilities in youth activities, which will strengthen their confidence and skills. Creation of international networks that support the ongoing development of inclusive projects in the field of youth work.
