Objectives

The project aims to empower youth workers and youth leaders from different European countries by developing their competencies in outdoor education and astronomy, as well as fostering the creation of collaborative networks among youth organizations. By implementing innovative activities and gamified methodologies in natural settings, the project seeks to enhance the quality of youth work, promoting a more engaging and effective educational approach for young people. Main Objectives: 1. Development of Competencies in Outdoor Education and Astronomy: To train youth workers in the use of outdoor education and astronomy techniques as educational tools. This will enable them to create more meaningful learning experiences connected to nature, fostering scientific curiosity and respect for the environment among young people. 2. Exchange of Good Practices and Creation of Collaborative Networks: To facilitate the exchange of good practices and experiences among youth organizations from different European countries. The project will promote the creation of a collaborative network that will allow organizations to share resources, methodologies, and future projects, thus increasing their capacity for action and the impact of their initiatives. 3. Promotion of Social Inclusion and Youth Empowerment: To use outdoor education and astronomy as tools to include young people in vulnerable situations, encouraging their active participation and personal and social development. The project aims to promote the integration and empowerment of these young people through activities that enhance their self-esteem, social skills, and environmental awareness. 4. Raising Awareness on Sustainability and Environmental Protection: To raise awareness among participants and the local community about the importance of sustainability and environmental protection. Through practical and educational activities, the project seeks to engage youth workers and young people in actively preserving their natural surroundings. 5. Development of Innovative Educational Tools: To create and disseminate a good practices manual that compiles all the methodologies and activities developed during the project. This resource will be available for other organizations and youth educators, enabling the replication and adaptation of the activities in different contexts. By implementing this project, we expect not only to improve the skills and competencies of the participating youth workers but also to establish an innovative educational model that can be replicated throughout Europe. This will contribute to a higher quality and impact in youth work, promoting a more inclusive, participatory, and environmentally connected education.
