The "Red de Saberes" project was designed as a continuation of a previous successful initiative, with the main goal of creating an active network of youth workers who support young people facing social vulnerability. Through this network, the aim was to exchange knowledge, methodologies, and best practices related to the prevention of youth social exclusion, aligned with the EU Youth Strategy and the European Strategy on Drugs. The specific objectives of the project included: Developing a strong and sustainable network among youth workers from 15 countries, fostering intercultural and collaborative work. Improving participants’ professional competences through the acquisition of innovative prevention methods based on non-formal education. Exchanging best practices focused on preventing social exclusion, redirecting at-risk behaviours, and strengthening protective factors. Promoting the development of new youth projects jointly inspired by the learning sessions and idea exchanges held during the mobility. Broadening the knowledge of participating organizations on how to effectively work with young people with fewer opportunities in diverse and complex contexts. Enhancing the quality of learning and socio-educational support processes in each participating entity. In summary, the project aimed to make a tangible contribution to improving youth work in Europe and neighbouring regions, providing adaptive solutions to an ever-changing youth landscape.
