The "Bridges - Not Walls" movement has successfully promoted inclusion, diversity, and migrant integration across Ireland, Germany, and Spain. With its recent project in Spain (2022-3-ES02-KA153-YOU-000098508), the initiative significantly impacted participants, encouraging reflection on migrant experiences, challenging stereotypes, and fostering open-mindedness through personal storytelling. A documentary created from the project has been widely shared to promote migrant inclusion. Building on past successes, the movement is now expanding internationally, focusing on Ceuta, a key migration gateway, and addressing the challenges of migration, multiculturalism, and diversity. Key themes for this expanded project include environmental migration and social justice, exploring how climate-induced migration intersects with issues like gender inequality, economic disparity, and disability rights. Human rights education will also be integrated to equip participants with the tools to advocate for migrant rights. Project Objectives: Introduce participatory art methodologies to engage migrant communities. Educate youth workers on non-formal education methods using participatory art. Deepen understanding of cultural sensitivity and human rights related to migration. Equip partner organizations with tools to engage marginalized youth, including those affected by climate change. Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participating organizations. Explore migration realities in Ceuta through interactive activities. Address the intersections of migration with environmental, intercultural, and multi-religious factors.
