The main objective of our project is to empower youth workers with the necessary tools and knowledge to apply gamification in their daily work, and through them, positively influence their organizations. Gamification, understood as the use of game design elements in non-game contexts, has proven to be an effective strategy for increasing motivation, learning, and engagement. However, many youth organizations in Europe have not yet adopted these practices, partly due to a lack of resources or adequate knowledge. The project aims to bridge this gap by providing education and training in the use of gamification as a transformative tool. We want youth workers, through the use of digital platforms and gamified strategies, to better adapt to the needs of today’s youth and make their work more dynamic and effective. By achieving this, organizations will become more innovative and in tune with contemporary trends. Furthermore, one of the project’s pillars is the development and distribution of resources. We will create accessible and easy-to-understand materials on gamification, aimed at organizations across Europe, enabling them to effectively incorporate these methodologies into their operations. These resources will be openly available, allowing more youth workers to benefit from the advantages gamification offers. Lastly, we seek a multiplier effect. We want the youth workers trained in the project to become ambassadors of gamification, spreading the results and knowledge acquired. Through a well-structured dissemination plan, the project will reach a broad range of organizations, promoting the adoption of gamification in diverse contexts and encouraging its use as a key tool in youth work.
